AI visibility audits for B2B and industrial companies look alike from the outside. They differ on which engines they cover, whether they report each engine or one combined score, whether the price is published, whether you must take a call, and what they sell you next. Four providers compared on those points, from their own published pages.
The comparison table, five questions to ask any provider, where each is stronger, and whether a tool can substitute.
AI visibility audits sold to B2B and industrial companies differ on five things: which AI engines they cover, whether results are reported per engine or as one combined score, whether the price is published, whether a call is required, and what you are sold afterward. The table compares four providers on those points, using only what each publishes on its own site, checked October 10, 2026.

Everything in the table comes from the provider's own page, linked in the sources below. Where a provider does not state something, the table says "not stated" rather than guessing. If any of it is out of date, email contact@searchstanding.com and we will correct it with the date of the change.
Five questions. Does it count each engine separately, since ChatGPT and Google's AI often disagree about the same company? Does it check whether each engine's crawler can reach your site? Is the price published? Do you have to take a call to get the result? And is the next step a retainer or a fixed scope? The answers tell you more than any sample report.
The first two questions are about whether the audit can find the fault. One company we measured in August 2026 had 44 mentions in ChatGPT and 2 in Google AI Overviews in the same week; the cause was an HTTP 406 returned to Google's crawler. A single combined score would have averaged those two numbers into something unremarkable, and an audit that skipped the crawler check would have found nothing to fix.
The last three questions are about what you are buying. A free audit followed by a call and an unpublished price is a sales process, which is fine as long as you know that going in. A published price and a written result let you judge the work before anyone asks for your time.
Each offer is stronger at something. Scylla publishes a named case study and re-measures free at 90 days. OneIMS covers Perplexity. Foundation covers Claude and Grok and runs ongoing distribution across forums, YouTube and trade publications. Search Standing publishes both prices, requires no call, delivers in writing in three working days, and ends after the pages are written, with no retainer.
In short: if you want a monthly program that keeps working on AI visibility, the agencies on this page sell one, and Foundation in particular sells a broad one. If you want to know exactly what is wrong, what fixes it, and what that costs, in writing, before you speak to anyone, that is the narrower thing our audit is built to do.
A free audit that ends in a sales call is still useful. Just know which kind you are buying.
Reading the offersNot for the first measurement. A tracking tool shows a trend once you know what to watch. An audit finds the fault that explains the trend: a crawler refused, a business name that differs across the web, a category description in the company's own jargon rather than the buyer's words. Tools are worth buying after the faults are fixed, to watch that they stay fixed.
The practical order is diagnosis, then specification, then the pages, then monitoring. Bought first, a dashboard confirms that a company is missing from AI answers, which it usually already suspected, without saying why. The AI visibility page explains how the four engines read and why they disagree.
Figures described as measured are from Search Standing's own analyses using Semrush, Google Search Console and direct queries to each AI engine, on the dates stated. Published ranges move quarter to quarter; the patterns are what we rely on.
Send your company and your market. We will run the analysis and send back a summary naming your competitors, the terms they are winning, and where you sit against them.
No call required and no obligation. Read it, check it yourself, and decide. If the findings are worth discussing after that, we can talk then.
